THANK YOU for the DD and all the comments and faves to go along with it. I always appreciate the support. I wish I could reply to them all.
Thanks again,

Hello.
Consider this a friendly reminder to all artists to keep your eyes on your shit and if you feel uneasy even at all, slap that giant ass-ugly copyright on your work. You know, that big super-tacky water-marked logo you have on file somewhere but rarely ever use because everyone bitches that they can't see your work through the giant thing.
I realize even that can't stop the most dedicated of art-thieves but hey, every little bit helps.
A fellow deviant-artist has been keeping tabs on a little gallery in Tasmania that happens to be selling a few of my pieces; each one framed and going for $129.
He recently snapped this photo of them for me (and depending on how long you've been following me on here, you may or may not recognize them):
Here are my original files; both are from a little series I did way back in '04 called "Fool's Paradise."
I've emailed them and am waiting for a response.
So that's it for now...I feel like it can be so easy to forget these things. It's unfortunate these people never go away but I suppose for every person making an honest living there are 5 making a dishonest one.
Ciao for now,
b
My absences seem to be getting longer and my only excuse is life.
(oh, and not having a paid account - this site is ridiculously difficult to navigate sans paid account - especially with many comments and deviations to sift through.)
I did notice, however, when going through several hundred unread comments earlier that my work was featured on many news pages/journals in the last few months and I just wanted you all out there in deviantartland to know that I completely and utterly appreciate it.
What's new, what's new. I'm been invited to and am participating in the first-ever Harvest Art Show which should be cool.
Oh also, you can find me in this month's issue of Denver Syntax.
An' that be 'bout it.
I've been a busy girl lately but it hasn't really been in the photography realm.
I predict a turnaround pretty quickly.
And you? What's your story?
I had a wisdom tooth pulled a week or two ago because it was killing me. I also had fillings.
Friday I had an appt. with an oral surgeon to have the remaining 3 pulled. This weekend has been crap. I'm also sick with a sore throat.
Next Friday I have another dentist appointment for more fillings.
Holy hell - these last few weeks have been miserable.
I need a new avatar - but I'm not feeling inspired at all in that department. Anyone wanna take a crack at it for me?
The New Erotic Photography will be out in a few days - so if you have a few dollars burning a hole in your pocket or find yourself bored at Barnes and Noble, check it out. I got my copies in the mail on Friday and it's AWESOME.
And at the risk of sounding too pretentious, if you'd like me to sign my section - I'd be more than flattered.
I got married this weekend.
