Metamorphose

I began a personal art project a couple months ago documenting my weightloss. I keep a journal in which I document my food intake and take self-portraits every week that I add to each journal page. Since beginning February I've now lost 20lbs.

I was an absolute stick through highschool and most of college weighing in at a mere average of 110lbs..(and I stand 5'9".)

At some point over the last few years my terrible eating habits and sendentary lifestyle really caught up with me and before I realized it I weighed 150lbs at my highest-ever weight.

I was asked by a friend to photographically document her pregnancy from beginning to end and it was that project that inspired me. I thought it'd be interesting to photograph her as she's getting bigger and me while I'm getting smaller.

And the results are what you see here.
